Got an unsolicited call from 'Card Member Services' who wanted all my card's surface info -- I refused; they couldn't even give me a website of their own or any way to prove they were legit. They said they'd call my bank and have them call me. About an hour later I got a call from a Jason Garcia of BOA on this number. When I asked for proof that he was BOA, he told me to call him back at the same number. When I pointed out that that would merely send me back to his call center, where he or his co-workers could say they were BOA without actually being BOA, he got upset at me. When the number he was calling from wasn't on my card or my statement and I (politely) refused simply call him back at the same number (for the reason just stated) and asked for BOA's web-address, he called me a 'real piece of s*** ' and hung up on me. Pretty sure BOA employees would never call me that. Later found the number on BOA's website and tried calling it -- was told the line as busy, given a 'switch' number, and hung up on. I'm gathering BOA needs a new call center. Oh, also, I don't have a BOA account.
