Call from different numbers all the time. Don't leave messages and caller ID says phone lice. About describes them perfectly.

I do owe money and Midland is trying to collect. I've asked them to just send me a letter but they won't. They just keep calling from different numbers and never leave a message.

They called me may 1 2016 at 2, 3, and at 8:30....its a frickin Sunday. THE WORST PART is that its not for me it is for someone else and they argue with me . I know who I am.

Asked for a kid who has not worked here in over 4 years. When i first answered, there was a long silence before the guys asked for this kid. no hello- no greeting. No information as to where he was calling from. (very thick accent) Told him Kid who has not worked here for years. he apologized and call was disconnected. As far as 'Midland' is concerned- they have had lawsuits filed against them. they got me too- and garnished myy wages- i got a good portion of the money back because of what i believe was a class action lawsuit for unfair and misleading collection practices. If you request something in writing from a collection agency- they must provide it to you. They also must cease and desist calling of you request it (IF they are legit at least- and if not- start recording them- you can download a recording app for free)

I got one that said it was the IRS, and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I know better than that, as the IRS never calls people. I am a tax preparer, and know how the IRS operates. This is a scam, so don't be fooled by it.

Got a call from these people. No msg, but after reading ur all's replies, I also believe it was midland. I too owe them money n will pay them when I'm able, but the calls keep uh-coming:/

New cell phone - probably on record with former owner - blocked the number

If you ask them to stop calling, they must stop calling, or else you can sue them for harrassment

Incessant calls from this number which I have always never answered... Finally decided to answer this morning and some foreign sounding voice came on... Loud as I could I said call this number again I'm gonna find you and stuff the phone up your rear ends and hung up... No idea who they are as called ID only displays '800 Service'
