Call came in on phone, hit the answer button and then hang up button. Call still managed somehow to get to my voicemail. Said account was closed, same voice I hear for other scam messages about my computer going to be shut down or I need to call because my credit will be affected. So tired of these callers. Get a real job and earn money the legal way idiots.

Robot call

Call allegedly from Verizon about my account being suspended. Call was ID'd as spam so I ignored it but it went to voicemail. Obvious scam because if the account was suspended, the phone wouldn't work.

Recorded message that Verizon service was suspended...SCAM!!!! I also reported this directly to Verizon.

called said its verizon fraud department. trying to reset my bank account password by sending recovery code to my phone asking to read it back.NEVER read back password recovery codes to anyone

This number called my wife (cell phone is in her name) and they said that somebody purchased two iPhones and they stopped the sale because they suspected fraud. Well, the 'fraud department' got access to our account because they sent a password reset text to her # and asked her to verify the code. Once my wife gave them the code, they were in. My wife THEN realized she screwed up and got in touch with me and I immediately called Verizon and was told that the scammers were actually trying to buy FOUR phones with our account. We got it all stopped and my wife is talking to Verizon's REAL fraud department now.

How in the world does this number get through while it is blocked? RoboKiller has blocked it several times.

Just got a call - Supposedly from Verizon stating that my service has been suspended. A total SCAM!

SCAM! Computer voice pretending to be Verizon. I verified that Verizon does not make calls unless pre-arranged by the customer. Just hang up!

Voice mail that this is Verizon my account is suspended... funny I received the voicemail yesterday.. used my phone all day today but my account is suspended... same voice as the IRS that said the police will be at my home if I don't pay immediately... scam

Had the same thing happened to me actually sent me a code and told me to repeat the code that was sent..also told me that 2 phones were purchased in my name from Rhode Island

I received the same call as others. I was on a landline at work and ignored the call but got the same voicemail as everyone else.

SCAM! Computer voice pretending to be Verizon about a 'suspended account'. I hung up and verified with Verizon that they do NOT make phone calls unless prearranged by the customer (for tech support, etc). This is a scam -- hang up!

I got a msg saying verizon needs to update my info I called Verizon. It's a scam call.

Did not answer; automated call (electronically generated voice) left message that my Verizon Wireless account had been suspended. Definitely a SCAM.
