Yeah this is a load of crap. I checked my acct after getting this call and there are no problems in my acct. Plenty of money, no unpiad tolls, and CC is up to date.

We received a letter with this number to call with a picture of a license plate that wasn't ours and no vehicle information. We found out it was registered to a person we bought a truck from after the supposed violation. My husband bought the truck for parts and never had it out of our area. We live in Ohio. We mailed them this information. They said they were sorry they couldn't help us but we still owe the money. We just received this letter today. We had the sheriff out and he said this is ridiculous.

Well it says it is IL Ipass. They say I have 3 or more non paid tolls and need to update my acct or add funds. This is total baloney as I just checked and everything is up to date and I have plenty of money in my acct and it does not show any unpid tolls or anything. Strange but then again it is IL.

got the call and they hang up.....this is creepy......who are these creeps! Called the number back and it is the illinois tollway..what is the matter with these people? ABOLISH THE TOLLWAY NOW!!!!!!!!

It's a New SCAM for the Tollway I PASS. DO NOT ANSWER AND BLOCK THE NUMBER. When you block numbers, they eventually go away.

Says its for IL toll way.

Also My Ipass has plenty on it and I think it is a survey computer call back from calling a tollfree party line which is regulated through a 3rd party.

They called me today and said I had three unpaid tolls. Umm......I live in TX and don't have an I-Pass account. Not quite sure what they are after.

I received a call from this number tonight, around 8:30-9pm. I do not live in IL, and I havnt been to IL in over 20 years. I think this is a phishing scam, and I hung up. I'm not sure how tolls work in IL, but I know I do not owe anything.

Just like the rest of you, received the call today (was on answering machine). Funny thing the person just gave a generic name saying it was 'Illinois Tollway' and I needed to call them about my account. Knew it was some sort of scam b/c she was stumbling through her speech, didn't state my name or any other pertinent information, almost sounded like they forgot they were 'representing' the Illinois Tollway.

I have a refund on my old Ipass transponder. Waited 45 days before they'll issue and send(mail) me a check. Guess what, they said it's another 6 to 8 weeks before I get the check. Mailed but won't recieve for another 6 to 8 weeks? Sitting on check. This is the Illinois Tollway authority. Not the bankrupt Illinois general fund. They're well funded! Must be a a Pony Express horse on crutches? Why do they say mailed but..... will be Another 6 to 8 weeks? Not a large amount , but .......maybe great time to move, taxes especially real estate taxes aren't climbing they're jumping to new highs.

Also I thought about this. Not only are they calling a number I do not have on file with them, I know the IL tollway authority and how they work. If there were any 'Violations' you would first get something in the mail stating what it is and what you owe. Chances are this is some scammers spoofing the phone number, then calling people at random in IL or wherever, and attempting to get whoever answers the phone to pay something they do not owe. If by chance you do answer one of these the first thing I would ask is what License plate and make of car is in violation. If they can't answer that then, well its a scam.

Also I would like to add that the number they called me on is not even a number that is listed in my IPASS account.

I have been recieving a call from this number for the past couple of days, but no one ever answers when i pick up. They call at least once a day and always around 12:30pm. When I look it up, it says IL Tollway.

Oh and the phone number they called is not even the one I have on record in my acct.
