I'm getting fraud apptemt on my phone through texting for me to call but I've been ignoring this fraud call

Trying to change my password so I can get back into my account because it's been reported fraud

This number is a fraud per the real Citibank Fraud department which you can reach at 1-800-950-5114. NEVER call the number left on this type of message. Always go online and find the official number for their company so you know who is on the other end of the line.

I contacted Citibank through my app after I got a voicemail through this number. Their agent told me there's no record of them ever having called me.

This is the number they provided me with to open a fraud alert report after calling me from 210-677-1346. Supposedly they are from Citibank and someone wanted to open a bank account under my name.

Said they were Citibank confirming an application. Spent more than an hour w Citibank w the number listed on their website (not the number on the voice mail). Citibank transferred me back and forth at least 10xs and still couldn't give me an answer. From this experience, I will never open a Citibank card bc their customer service is frustrating and subpar. Still don't know if it was a legit call or not.

called my parents and gave a reference telling them to have me call them back to confirm my account. Why would Fraud be calling prior to me even receiving my card? Phishing. Only call the number on the back of the card.

Said they were from Citicard Fraud Dept, asked me to call but when I reached out to Citi card they had no record of activity. Do not call this number.

Got a call from this number after applying for Citi credit card. i didn't call it back, but instead called the Citi security number listed on their site, 1-800-950-5114. Citibank verified that 800 825-0393 was in fact their number and that they were just verifying that I had actually set up the account and not someone else. So, all good. Still, better to call Citibank directly to check. You never know.

Called back with reference number they provided. They could not look it up but if I just gave my 9 digit SS# they could help. A real bank will not ask for entire SS over a phone call that they initiate, if at all. Hang up.

I was told to call this number by someone claiming to be Citi's Fraud Early Warning Department. While I didn't call it, I did call the number on the back of my card and they in fact had tried to reach me.

Awful Representative. Pretty sure it wasn't even actually Citi. Call the normal 1-800 number!!!

I received both a phone call, email and hard copy stating I have tried to open a Citi Double Cash credit card but more personal information is needed. I have not asked to open a new card and I certainly do not give up personal info for nothing.Is there anything you can do about this? Please respond by e-mail.Chris Breuninger

Received a very convincing letter about fraud on my card... thing is I didn't receive the card yet. Seemed very sus, especially because when I called it the machine asked me to enter my full my credit card number and social (i didn't). I then called the number on the back of the ACTUAL CARD and it does not ask for this info. I'm p sure this is a scam but I can't be sure but I'd advise 100% do not use this number, use the one on the card itself.

Called my cell phone asking me to call this 800 number and enter a reference number. I don't have a Citibank credit card. Obviously a scam.
