I received a call from this number on 10-26-09 around 9:30 am and 10-30-09 at 9:36 am I called them back 10-26-09 9:57 am talked to Steven, he was asking to speak with Dasha, I said I'm not Dasha and I don't know a Dasha so please remove my number from your data base and he said, Sure Thing! It's a collection agency Williams & Fudge!

Called at 8:04am this morning. Left message to call back.

I get repeated calls from this number, on an almost daily basis (sometimes more than once in a day), to my BUSINESS line. If I answer, the line disconnects - no one has ever responded when I say 'hello?'. No one ever leaves a message when I don't pick up. Extremely annoying, borderline harrassing.

This is the third time that the call has come in to my work number. Each time, the caller hangs up as soon as I answer.

I got I need to speak to Dawn, I said 'I'm sorry you have the wrong number' then miss snippy said then COULD you hand the phone to Dawn...I said there is no Dawn here. She said, 'So then THIS is Dawn 'I hung up.....little Missy snippy needs to get some manners!

This number is calling my cell and work number over and over and over but never leaves a message. Finally answered, politely waited for the guy to state his name and company, then told him to please stop calling my phone and work immediately before hanging up. If there is some debt I owe, they can mail me a statement, but if they call again I am filing harassment charges.

I don't know why they are calling me. What is the poi nt of the 'Do Not Call' Registry if no one honors it? Isn't there something more to do, other than report them, which they completely ignore?

Received a call from this number. The caller stated she was trying to reach a 'Holly' somebody that had listed my name and number as a contact or reference. I do not even know a 'Holly' anybody! If you get a call, ASK QUESTIONS!!!

Called at 11:10 AM. Caller left a message identifying herself as Shanell (sp?). This is a collection agency named Williams & Fudge. They try to collect on defaulted Perkins Loans (student loans provided by the college or university).

i have these calls as well, i have student loans and i know i owe them, but, there is one problem,i had to drop out of school, and i did it within the time frame, and now they say i owe them 2500.00 (about). i had recieved no paperwork to dispute this and the reasoning i had to drop out, i have proof of, i told them this and they told me that the time to dispute it is way over now, for me to just pay it. i tend to pay what is owed on the loans but, not this one when i dropped out within the time allowed but yet i still get calls and i have told them that but they get just down right rude. please help.

Debt collector guessing at phone numbers. I am in an apartment, and the previous tenant is somehow tagged to my telephone number of 30 years. I doubt the girl is much older than 30 years. I asked the landlord what happened, and she said the girl skipped town. That was nearly 10 years ago, and the calls still come. My number is listed in my name, no mistaking it is not the name of the girl linked to the apartment when it was a different telephone.

Check your state's laws governing collectors. In some states, you can mail a letter via Certified Mail, advising them that they are not to call you at work, home, etc. If you prohibit them from calling, you can ask them to only enter their requests in writing. If you don't owe the debt they are attempting to collect, you can report them to your state's office of the Attorney General.

They keep calling my work phone asking for Ms. Furby! Asking me if I know a Ms. Furby and that his name is John and asking me who I am. Dude you called me and I just told you you have the wrong number. Stop calling me.

I DON'T NEED DEBT ASSISTANCE. HOW ELSE CAN YOU REPORT THESE PEOPLE THEY KNOW THEY ARE CALLING MY HOME AND ARE NOT GOING TO FIND THE PEOPLE THEY ARE LOOKING FOR.
