An automated call from HMRC. Says there will be a warrant for my arrest if i don't press 1.

Been called by this number regarding tax fraud in my name.

Had a call from them today, saying its HMRC and that it has been fraud under my name, need to press 1, otherwise ill b arrested immediately. Really!!!!

They tried ringing twice today. Once from this number and once from very similar. Both scams. Scary how easy it is for scammers to show as a number that belongs to HMRC. Same goes for the txt message scam and email scams I've heard about.

If the number is not in my contacts list, I don’t answer it, if it was genuine then they would leave a message. Wrote number down for reference and then blocked and deleted call.

this number called me today identifying itself as HMRC. I thought that it was a bogus call and put the phone down

I have received a call from this number and unsure if it is the inland revenue. I tried to call back because I was worried and was on hold for a long time after giving some personal information. I looked up the number on google and it said it was HMRC. But others have recorded as a scam. I am unclear I don't won't to not call them if they are genuine. Please help!!!

Fraudulent HMRC SCAM

Hello,I was called today by this number advising me I was under investigation by HMRC for fraud. it advised me to press 1. it was a computer generated voice. they advised if I didn't press 1 I would be arrested.So I Hung up and waiting to get arrested... What ever next!

Called and asked me to press 1 as there was an HMRC case pending and I would be arrested straight away. This number has been hijacked by some loons..
