All SCAM pretending to be the Halifax

Just had a call from the 0345 0000001 saying the are from Lloyd bank as my account is compromised 😡

This number called me on my iPhone today but I simply ignored it.I don’t take calls from numbers that’s not in my contacts

This number just called me on a no called ID and then called again on 0345300001 on 02/10/2020 asking if I spent £300 in Argos in Aberdeen and then went on to say he can send all of my money to a safer account I said I wanted to go into store and said I don’t have any appointments at the moment. I hung up and blocked the number.

I blocked this number after checking on here.

Scam, pretending to be Lloyds bank

Called me said he was from Lloyds bank.

I read that is fraud and I never answer! Asked to block it

Scam please be aware

Had a call claiming to be Lloyd's. Said lots of fraudulent payments been made and direct debit been set up. Urged me to cancel card and give personal info. I called him out as a fraud. He insisted he wasn't. Had me check the number which ironically led me to this!! Idiot. He hung up in the end.

My wife was called by this number today (after an email phishing attack last week) - same patter as mentioned below (fraud department, direct debits being set up, may need to set up new accounts to move money into). Very plausible and smooth. Luckily she was about to drive to work and didnt continue the call. She then rang to ask me to ring Lloyds Fraud back in case it was genuine. Nope. Lloyds very clear (it wasn't them) and helpful. Stay aware!

Rang me saying he was from Lloyds bank and I told him the number should be 03453000000 and he said that was the Customer help number and the 03453000001 was Lloyds bank fraud number. He actually told me my account number and sort code but I was not happy so told him to go away and get his manager to ring me - he never rang back. Beware as the caller sounded genuine

I can see why people fall for this scam because someone called Thomas sounded very convincing. Very nearly fell for it myself but when he asked me to transfer my Isa savings to a new sort code and account number I knew it was fraud. I got as many details as I could off him and phoned action fraud and my bank

This guy said he was calling from Nationwide about a new direct debit I'd set up to a company in Aberdeen )I hadn't). I'd had a similar call about a month ago from a different number which I'd blocked, different bloke.I told him I'd phone nationwide direct and blocked him. It's a scam - hang up

My boyfriend was a victim of a scam and then hours after reporting it received a call from this number asking him to transfer all his money to his new account as his account had been compromised.

Bank fraud claimed to be my bank and insisted that he knew that fraud was happening on my account. Spoke very good English but was asking how much money was in my account so he could help me. My bank have started fraud investigation into him

This is a scam claiming to be Lloyds bank . Last digit is different other wise number very similar to Lloyds. Scammers are using Aberdeen as the place of where your card details are being used. Please be aware and phone bank if not sure .
