Just called me and said i would be arreseted in 15 mins gave me a load of details and ref number. She hung up when i asked for it to be sent to me in writing.

I just received a call from this number. They knew my name and said to press 1 or I would be sent a warrant to arrest me for tax fraud, they went onto give me a case no, a batch no, and a warrant ID no... i was told NOT to interrupt, at this point I put my phone on speaker as soon as they heard my husband's voice they hung up !!!Really scared me !

This is a scam they will not stop calling me automated voice telling me to press one I did and they hang up

I was just called and told by an automated voice that I was under investigation for fraud and needed to press 1. If I didn't I would be arrested shortly! Didn't press 1 and the line went dead.

They said it was hmr and that I will shortly be arrested if I don’t press 1. I never did and then looked on google and come to this page. But was worried. Hope this helps someone

Indeed automatic call from a fake HMRC. Asked you to press #1to know more details/speak with an agent. Don't press #1, they will pass you with an overlyagressive fake agent urgent you to pay some amount you don't know.It's a very old scam, they just keep changing numbers. Best option is to simply block the call, and if its too late, do not call back nor press 1!!
