Fraud .will need police to crack down on people scaring others

They put phone down on me once i said i had no idea what they were on about as i dont work n my husband lost his job early last year

DANGEROUS SCAM - do NOT answer, do NOT press 1, do NOT call them back, you will NOT face any legal consequences for ignoring their obnoxious scary messages. They pretend to be officers from HMRC threatening you with immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless they get an instant payment! This gang of persuasive, aggressive criminals use fear tactics to extort large sums of money from vulnerable people and have already claimed a number of elderly victims.

Why can’t the police do something about them? It’s a very frightening call to get.

Yes I got the same call and just put the phone down and tried to call back but it disconnected.

I've had two missed call this morning but didn't answer because I was driving so I googled the number and found all of your comments thank God I never answerd.

Just had a call from this number saying there’s a fraud case in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC or I will be arrested, as a young single parent it frightened me but I didn’t press 1 these scammers need stopping ASAP
