This was the contact number I was given in an email purporting to be from LloydsBank informing me that my access to internet banking had been suspended. When I phoned it I got an automated service purporting to be from Lloyd’s Bank and asking me to confirm account details....

They sent me letter at home confirming my internet banking with Lloyds etc. Lucky I immediately knew it was a scam, but I also know not to call them despite my panic feelings inside . Googled the number and voila.

I was sent same email saying internet was suspended. I `phoned proper TSB number and was told number DID belong to Lloyds but was very old?I did not respond to email.

Received a message to the effect that a device had been used to access my Lloyd's account. The message was part of a string of legitimate messages from Lloyd's. When I contacted Lloyd's i was told this was a scam. I had certainly been convinced by the message so it is important to beware

Got a letter sent to my address saying it was Halifax with this number on the top. Didn't ring as its a scam. Don't call.

According to my most recent BT bill I phoned them and have been billed £3.50 for a call lasting 29 minutes - really - I don't think so. So is it a nuisance call that actually manages to charge you?
