Fraudsters are replicating a genuine HMRC number to obtain your details. An automated message told me there had been fraudulent activity on my account, and then to press 1 to speak to an officer. I hung up and discovered this was a genuine HMRC number. I called back and spoke to somebody at HMRC. The contact there told me scammers are using their number to get personal information. Left me a message saying that a warrant had been issued for my arrest if I did not press 1 to be connected to an officer the warrant would be executed

Hmrc told me to press 1 or a warrant would be sent. Just hung up Caller: Hmrc ? Spam!!!

Supposed to be HMRC. Didn't get automated message but when I call them they said that they needed National Insurance number before they would/could confirm if HMRC or not!Word to the wise, this is a SCAM. HMRC do NOT call you they write. And after investigation, I find out that the callers are threatening arrest via recorded message. HMRC do not use recorded messages (to my knowledge) to threaten with arrest so give NO personal details.

Same as above, a recorded message telling me there’s been a tax fraud on my account and telling me to press 1. I just hung up. Caller: Fake HMRC spammers

Told me they were calling from HMRC and there was a warrant out for my arrest and if I didn't press 1 and speak to an officer to give my details I would be arrested shortly. I laughed and hung up. DO NOT GIVE ANY DETAILS jus hang up. It is a fraudulent caller!!!!!! Caller: Don't know
