I was left a voicemail message from someone claiming to be from the DWP asking me to phone them on the number above with my national insurance number? Is this real? I think they had phoned from an 0800 number?

Hiya I have recived 2letter claiming to be from CSA with that number asking me for bank details as they have a payment for me concidering my children are grown up and flown the nest with there own children I find this fake as I have never had a penny from them in 33years when they was small but out of the blue this came saying they have a payment for me of 553.04 lucky I got it checked out it's a scam

This number is DWP most likely to be calling to advise you about your case and if your due money back or still due to pay.

It is DWP. Called us with money we were due.
