I was called from this number today and they informed me that they were Barclays awesome my bank details I refused the person could barely speak English couldn’t pronounce my name when I told him I was not confident that I’m from Barclays they hung up

A scam do not transfer any funds from your bank account to another account. hang up and call barclays directly. they tried to scam my mum these pricks

FraudMan said he was from Barclays, had my first name and said someone tried to use my card in Aberdeen. Scotland in Argos.Then asked if I have mobile banking and a pinsentry, he asked me to log into Barclays online banking when I refused and questioned whether he was genuine he used some profanities and hung up!

I was called repeatedly by this number claiming to be Barclays. After trying to get my details and asking me to open my Mobile account the caller became irritated when I refused. Clearly scammers trying to speak professionally and dismally failing.

They have somehow copied it. This is fraud.

Someone called saying I had just taken £300 from my account. I know that is not possible so I told the person I’d hang up & call the fraud department myself. They were still talking when I hung up. Sounded like a very young boy, possibly teenager.

They wanted me to open my Barclays app which sent a red flag in my heard, some how even guessed my maiden name, they seem to have some convincing information.

I received an email allegedly from Barclays Bank saying that I had set up a direct debit with Debit Finance Collections PLC, which I have not. I suspect there is an attempted scam taking place

I have this number on my phone bill apparently I was on the phone to them for 4 hours and 41 minutes in June. This is not this case. I have been charged over £50 for this one call. I have tried to get TALK TALK to refund me the money but so far no joy. I don't understand how this could happen.

Barclays customer services. Not a scam it us actually barcĺays. They helped me with an account enquiry and we're helpful.

Happened today same as to the person anonymous describing bellow. Called my bank and they havent called me and my account is in order. Just hope i dont have to worry about my money, as they seemed to know a lot of personal details...address, name card details...without me giving all this info...

Someone called saying they were from the fraud department in Manchester and they suspected fraudulent activity on my account. They asked for my sort code and I refused to give any details. They said they would not be able to refund any monies if I could not verify the account. They gave me a name, ID number and the above telephone number, But said they were not taking incoming calls. SCAM

I called Barclays on this number on legitimate account query. This morning I had a call from this number purporting to be my ISP saying there was illegal activity on my internet and I was going to be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed '1' Somehow scammers have got hold of Barclays number and using it to scam me

Indian sounding man said there had been suspicious activity on my account and he was phoning me about it from the fraud team at Barclaycard. He was very convincing. Barclays confirmed it as fraud.
