They just called me saying they were HSBC and that they wanted me to confirm my purchase for 900 from is Instagram account I know? Reassuring me that they were taking any security details. Such a scam.

Have had calls from this number saying someone had taken over £5000 from my account. I was asked to generate security codes from my phone for him to “fix” the issue. I rang HSBC who told me they would never ask someone to do this - definitely a scammer but worryingly he knew how much was in the account and could name one of the direct debits.

A chap called Alex phoned my mother on 30/11/2020 in the evening. She engaged talking to him before handing the phone over to me, saying that a large amount of money was withdrawn from a ATM in Manchester a couple of days ago.

Claimed to be calling from HSBC Fraud department. Regarding a payment of £200 that came out of my account. They wanted me to confirm my sort code. I started to question them and they hung up. Tried to call back. line was dead Caller: HSBC Fraud Dept

i had a call from a man telling me he was from HSBC and that he needed to verify that i had authorised a number of transactions, that my account had been attached to an iphone 12 and apple pay. He knew my name, town where I live and last 4 digits from my debit card. I checked his phone number online, whilst he was talking and found the above.

I got a call from HSBC today! A suspicious man who clearly had no idea what he was talking about called me and told me that he is from their fraud department! This is a very easy to spot scam!
