at best: spam, but could be worse. Received two texts from them, both starting: Hi Katy (but that 's not me). Best not to answer, just delete them and put number on blocked list .

Mighty deals - first text in Feb 2016 with a link to website with deals on Apple, CK, Holidays etc, then this morning the next text saying my name and that I need to be a product tester - test and keep for free the Dyson V8 - with a link which looks like to a page where you sign up to something www.sms.ec web addressHave ignored both as far as I can remember! Definitely feels like a scam so checked online and found these people also receiving the same message

We also have had a text asking us to trial the dyson v8 and keep it for free. Why would someone want to give me a £400 vacuum for free! Who are Free Compare?

Received same texts re Samsung Galaxy S8 on 18th July & Dyson V8 today 21st August both used my first name . With so many others reporting, clear it is a scam .

Asda voucher offered to do a mystery shop. Deleted the text.

Got text to my number, they used my husbands first name asking him to test and keep a Dyson, googled number first before replying, glad I did, I know to ignore it now.

received 2 texts from SynergyCC to test products and keep them for free. Addressed to : Hi as if someone put in a wrong number. Put on blocked list and deleted. Best not to answer.

These texted me today asking me to test £200 worth of MAC make up . Used my forename as well

I too received the text about trialing the Dyson- then to keep it. Or opt out by replying to the above phone no. I did not, and am now glad. If too good to be true, probably is.

Had text to say I was needed to test a dyson, they had my name too. Assuming it's a scam as when I tried to call it said the number was not recognised!

I looked up this number and i,m glad I did i have deleted it and blocked the number.

Received text to test and KEEP Dyson V8 Absolute. Glad sites like this one exist to help people out and make it difficult for scammers to continue.

I would like to add that I tried to block the number, to no avail.
